Lessons and practice activities work without any account. Live AI in the iOS app (Ask Koda, Studio tools, Game Builder, and Drawing Studio) stays off until a grown-up unlocks it: open Ask, tap “Unlock live AI”, complete the grown-up check, and sign in with Apple. Permission lasts up to 15 minutes at a time.

To turn live AI off, a grown-up can sign out from For grown-ups in the app. AI answers can be wrong; check important information with a trusted grown-up. Report a safety concern using the contact above.

Koda is free to use, with 20 live AI turns a month and one free AI sticker try for each family. Koda Plus Family ($6.99 a month or $59.99 a year in the US; prices vary by country) raises this to 300 turns and 30 AI stickers a month (up to 5 a day), shared by the family. A grown-up can subscribe, restore, or manage it in For grown-ups. To cancel, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.

If a subscription doesn't show up, sign in with the same Apple ID in For grown-ups and tap Restore purchase.

Read the Privacy & Safety page to see what stays on the device, what is sent for live AI, and how long it is kept. A grown-up can erase Koda's saved data on a device from For grown-ups, or email us with any deletion request.
